Bi-Weekly Roundup – Oct 14, 2018

Welcome to the 9th bi-weekly BrockArmstrong.com roundup. The only place that gives you one easy place to retrieve all the rantings, ravings, and general diatribes that I have unleashed on the world of health, fitness, movement, and wellness in the last two weeks.

I was away for part of the last two weeks (on the other side of the continent, below the 49th parallel) but I am back just in time to watch the leaves fall off the trees and the cargo shorts turn into cargo pants. We are also closing in on the end of race season here in Canada which means I will be having some openings in my coaching roster – jus’ sayin’.

Road running – I can’t let the race season end yet, so I have signed up for the Fall Classic 10k on Nov 4. The race goes up and down and around the gorgeous UBC campus. If you plan to be there, let me know and we can have a coffee after!

I will leave you with this photo I caught of 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist and 2 x ITU World Champion, Gwen Jorgensen when she was about 200 metres from the finish line of the Chicago Marathon last weekend. I know that she wasn’t pleased with her outcome but I was pleased to see her on the course.

Now, get out there and get that body moving!
