Get-Fit Guy – How Long Should You Recover Between Sets?

Monster Squat Jumps

In this video, I demonstrate how to do Monster Squat Jumps.

The sequence goes like this:

  • Basic squats
  • Add in the jump
  • Lateral Monster walks between each jump.

This is a heck of a great way to build some explosive power, strength, and get your heart rate up (cardio, if you will) all at the same time.

Read about the benefits of the workout (and plain jumping) in this Get-Fit Guy article

Social Media:

The most popular social media post I had this week was this Instagram video of me swimming in the (frigid) water near my house. I started by walking on the beach each morning, then progressed to basically running in and out of the water, then I started staying neck-deep in the water for as long as 15 minutes, and now I am swimming a few hundred meters! Fun!

To be honest, I will be happy when the summer weather warms to water a bit but for now, it is a great way to start the day!
