Video: Hip Hinge Progression

We talk a lot about the importance of taking movement breaks throughout your day in the Program (which is open for early-bird enrollment right now).

This video is a full-body example of what we mean. The basic hip hinge is a fundamental movement that helps you perform essential tasks such as bending down to pick stuff up.

But it is also a part of many strength training exercises such as the deadlift, kettlebell swing, power clean, and a bunch more fun movements.

This particular Hip Hinge Progression exercise can strengthen your core, strengthen your legs, improve your balance, and get your heart rate up in a hurry! Which makes it the perfect thing to do when you need a movement break in your day.
