If you haven’t heard me talk about Weighless before, here is the dealio: Weighless is a group coaching program that produces permanent weight loss through lifestyle modification, awareness, and behaviour change. Our unique approach maximizes fat loss, minimizes metabolic disruption, and builds sustainable habits. So, instead of learning how to lose weight, they learn how to weigh less.

Change Academy – Choosing Your Thoughts

But we often allow unworthy or unhelpful thoughts to take up a lot of real estate in our brains–and this can negatively impact how we feel, what we do, and ultimately what we accomplish.

Get-Fit Guy – How Micro Workouts Can Help You be More Active
Can short bursts of exercise sprinkled across your day allow you to achieve your goal of living a more active lifestyle? My guest believes they can!

Get-Fit Guy – Can You Get Fit in Virtual Reality?
Can virtual reality games encourage fitness? Get-Fit Guy tested the new Oculus Quest 2 to learn more about VR and fitness. He had fun, but did he break a sweat?

Virtual Reality Workout

In the game I am playing in this video, three-dimensional cubes fly toward me in various combinations, speeds, locations, and orientations and I must slice them in half with my two light sabers. There are markers on the cubes with tell me which way to slice them and occasionally there are walls and obstacles that I must also dodge. All the while, peppy music is playing and providing the beat that I must slice in time with.

Watching someone play this game is not pretty but here is a video of me so you can see how much of your body gets involved. It truly is a frantic, and somewhat violent, full-body dance.

Social Media:

In this Instagram photo, I show a photo of my breakfast (yeah, I am THAT guy who takes pictures of his food), to demonstrate how much easier it is to get your daily dose of veggies if your breakfast is chock full of them. This is key if you are trying to get a good grade on your Nutrition GPA.
