Bi-Weekly Roundup – Sep 30, 2018

Welcome to the eighth edition of my bi-weekly roundup. It has been a truly busy two weeks. I am not one of the people who pride themselves on how busy they always are so I don’t say that as a brag but rather as an apology. I don’t like it when life gets this way and I am taking steps to remedy it.

If you find yourself getting “too busy” I suggest you do the same. Instead of pulling your socks up, let them droop and see if you can let some of the less important stuff slide for a bit. I am sure you will feel better for it in the long run.

Ok, on with the round-up. If any of the following topics happen to tickle your fancy, click the underlined text to find out more!

Road running – I ran in the Eastside 10k on Sep 15. It was rainy but fun and I came in under my goal time – woohoo! So, after that success, I am now eyeing a fall half marathon (not just a half) in November. So far the training is going very well and I am feeling positive.

Spectating – I am not racing but I will be at the Chicago Marathon at the end of the week, cheering and grabbing some interviews. If you are going to be there, let’s met up!

And that is that. Phew! See what I mean? It has been a busy two weeks!
